Who We Are
Grace Bible Church is composed of those who come together to visibly express their invisible union with Christ. This expression is evidenced by —
- the exposition of the Word of God
- a spiritual bond of unity and fellowship
- the exercise of spiritual gifts
- the partaking of the sacraments
- prayer and evangelism.
The purpose of this community of faith is to glorify God and to present every man complete in Christ.
The government of this church is entrusted to a plurality of elders, who rule by means of the Word of God.

Our Statement of Faith
- We believe the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God and is the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
- We believe in one God, eternally existing in three separate and distinct persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the same in substance, but distinct in subsistence.
- We believe that God is sovereign and works all things after the counsel of His will.
- We believe that all men are sinners and thus under the wrath of God.
- We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, truly God and truly man, Who came to redeem sinners.
- We believe in the literal and physical resurrection and return of Jesus Christ.
- We believe that man is saved by grace through faith alone.
- We believe in the perseverance of the saints, who by God’s power will continue faithful to the end.
- We believe in an eternal judgment as the consequence of unbelief.
Grace Bible Church is committed to Biblical exposition and the doctrines of the sovereign grace of God. Systematic teaching is, we believe, essential to the long term growth of God’s people as God has ordained His Word to call and equip the Church. The theology of the Protestant Reformation is also foundational to our core beliefs; in particular, grace alone (Sola Gratia), Christ alone (Solus Christus), faith alone (Sola Fide), Scripture alone (Sola Scriptura), and to God alone be the glory (Soli Deo Gloria). It is this system of historic orthodoxy that exalts the glory and holiness of God and makes man utterly dependent upon the grace of God.The government of Grace Bible Church is committed to Christ as Head of the Church and a plurality of elders.
The central message of the Gospel is comprised of four essential truths, which we would like for you to consider…
GOD: Who He is; What He Demands
WHO HE IS – God is Spirit, perfect in righteousness and justice. God is the sovereign King over His creation, and He rules with all of the perfections of His Character.
“God reigns over the nations. God sits on His holy throne.” – Psalm 47:8
WHAT HE DEMANDS – God requires that all men should perfectly obey His law and imitate His righteous, just and holy character.
“Be ye holy, for I am holy.” – I Peter 1:16
WHO HE IS – God created the first man, Adam, righteous. When Adam sinned as our representative, the guilt of that sin was imputed to us, resulting in a corrupt and sinful nature. This corrupt nature involves an entire absence of righteousness before God and an entire inclination towards evil, resulting in a life of rebellion against God.
“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23
WHAT HE DESERVES – Because of their rebellion against God, all men are under God’s wrath and subject to judgement.
“The soul that sinneth, it shall die.” – Ezekiel 18:20
CHRIST: Who He is; What He Did
WHO HE IS – Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, Who is fully God and fully man in one person.
“In Him dwells all the fulness of deity in bodily form.” – Colossians 2:9
WHAT HE DID – Christ came into the world to save sinners. As sinless man, He was able to represent sinners as One Who had perfectly obeyed the demands of God’s law. As God, Christ was able to fully satisfy the demands of God’s justice. He did this by being punished on the cross in the place of His people as the highest expression of His love for them. As their substitute, He bore the punishment from God which they deserved, thereby enabling them to escape the wrath of God.
“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us.” – Galatians 3:13
This deliverance from God’s wrath comes through faith in Christ.
FAITH: The only hope for salvation
Faith in the resurrected Christ is the only hope for salvation. This faith is not a mere knowledge of facts, but a reliance on and a trusting in the Person and work of Jesus Christ for salvation from sin. Saving faith is a gift from God that is undeserved, unearned, and unmerited. This faith not only looks to the past work of Christ on the cross for the forgiveness of our sin, but also results in a turning from our sin to a life of obedience to God.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast.” – Ephesians 2:8,9
After His death on the cross, Christ rose from the dead to siginify that He had conquered sin and death. He then was seated at the right hand of the Father, from where He reigns as King, commanding all men to repent and believe in Him.
“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved.” – Acts 16:31
